Welcome to New York Feral Cats (NYFC)
Cats in your area need your help!!!
NY Feral Cats is dedicated to the sterilization of feral cat colonies in New York State using a method called Trap-Neuter-Return otherwise known as TNR.
TNR is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors are humanely trapped, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and cats that are able to be socialized are adopted into good homes. others are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers, unless we are able to find acceptable placements for them.
TNR is the most effective means of stabilizing population, controlling rabies, and protecting human health. TNR is also the most cost effective. Having the cats euthanized requires taxpayer dollars to pay for intake, housing, handling, feeding, killing and disposal.

Donations will be used to pay the cost of vet bills. Without you this can't be done. Some of our kittens are being fostered and becoming social enough to be adopted! If you are interested in adopting the cost is $15. The cat/kitten will have already been fixed, had it's first round of shots, been treated for fleas and in some cases more. Check out the Adopt Me page to see who is currently looking for a home.
